Despite being a social butterfly, they are seen as a social outcast due to their interests in cryptics and fantasy novels.Leaf is always eager to learn more about their interests and always eager to take up a new hobby. Sometimes though, Leaf can get a little trapped in their own head and then the intrusive thoughts can happen. It can be good or bad, but they have to often control the impulses.They will do anything to live a fantastic and adventurous life.

𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: UnknownHe was a leader of his cult back in the late 2000s, he promised revenge to his followers for anyone who had hurt them. His curses would reach hundreds of people, people who wronged others in the past and sometimes it would extend into poltics. But his power was still weak, to truly become a GOD.. he would need a human vessel, someone who can withstand his powers.That's where Lacey Finch came into play. a cult member mentioned a girl who had no guardian and no brains either.. a perfect simple host!
WRONG!
The ritual went wrong. Bounding to Leaf's soul in a different way and only being able to be seen by them. The cult assuming that everything was a lie abandons Lacey on the side of the road, not knowing that their leader actually became their guardian.They did everything they could to make their life miserable, to make them unhappy, but they treated everything with a smile and after a failed possession attempt, Chrysalis is exorcised and he's now in a much smaller and weaker state.Now he must rely on Leaf to help him regain his power and also protect Leaf from harms way.

In Leaf's main timeline and story every human being is assigned either an angelic divine being or an demonic enity as a guardian. To protect them, nurture and guide them through life. Sometimes a guardian can grant it's host powerful ablities but some ablities can be weak depending on who the guardian is.Lacey didn't grow up with a guardian, her parents didn't particularly believe in religion and chose not to perform the guardian ritual.
At the age of fourteen Lacey Finch was chosen by Cult of Chrysalis and it's leader to be it's vessel and become one with the Demon of Curses and Shadows. The ritual didn't work at first and they were ditched on the side of the road in a random town. But little did they know, the ritual did work and in fact Chrysalis became Lacey's new guardian. Since their lives are forever intertwined, it reluctantly agrees to protect Leaf and give them some of their power.Leaf can sometimes blend in with shadows, use Chrysalis's vision to see through walls and sometimes set specfic curses on others.As they get older though, Chrysalis becomes more power hungry and temporarily starts to control Leaf's body and it starts as a demonic possession gone bad. Then.. an exorcist is performed by VOID but it doesn't get rid of Chrysalis in actually weakens them and gives it a much smaller stature.Leaf is trying to live a much calmer life, but they keep getting invitations to this VOID group? Just what exactly do they want with them?

1. They live at the Sunflower Seeds Cafe. Which is run by their father and their older twin brother Fern. Leaf sometimes helps with the cafe, that's how they earn part-time money.2. They are Ojibwe/Irish. Their father is Irish immigrant and Leaf's mother is from the Ojibwe tribe.3. They are autistic, also have a dissociation disorder and with generalized anxiety. They are medicated for their anxiety.4. a huge fan of the band the Dead Heads. They have a huge crush on their bass-player.5. In their normal universe and timeline, humans are protected by guardians which can demons or angels. Chrysalis the Demon of Curses and Shadows chosen Leaf to be it's vessel. Their former guardian angel was killed by the cult and later after performing the ritual to make Chrysalis and Leaf one. But the ritual was assumed to be a failure, so they were promptly ditched on the side of the road.. but it actually worked. In some verses Chrysalis will be portrayed, but they will mostly exist within Leaf's main universe.6. They have a black cat named Emerald.7. They have a twin brother named Fern and a younger sister named Hollyhock.
